What we store

  • Your e-mail address, a password hash, your display name and optional bio and languages.
  • Your arrangements: meeting points and drop-off points you choose, any point details you type, times, optional arrive-by deadlines and travel dates. The app does not ask for a home or work address.
  • If you drive: vehicle make, model, colour, seats, fuel type, fuel consumption and, if you add it, the registration plate. Also the planned driving route between your points.
  • Seat requests, trial answers, confirmed rides, agreed contributions and the messages you exchange about them.

What other members can see

  • Before a seat request: your display name, bio, the area names of your arrangement, your schedule, and a broad band for how close points are to the route. Never your e-mail address, point details, exact distances, route or registration plate.
  • When a passenger sends a request: that one driver sees the passenger's meeting and drop-off point details.
  • After a ride is confirmed: the passenger also sees the vehicle's registration plate. A passenger never sees another passenger's points or bookings.
  • After a trial, each person's answer about continuing is kept private until both have answered.

Location and routing

  • Points are places you type. The app does not ask for your device's location and does not track you during a journey.
  • To estimate routes and times, point coordinates are sent to a routing service (Geoapify) without your name, contact details or account.
  • Maps are optional and load only when you open one. They show the centres of towns and landmarks, never exact points. Opening a map lets the map provider (Geoapify) see your internet address and the area you view.

E-mail and device notifications

  • Your e-mail address is passed to an e-mail service (Brevo) only to send you a verification code.
  • Device notifications are off unless you turn them on under Profile. Each alert says only that there is an update; it carries no names, places or times. Your browser's push service (run by Apple, Google or Mozilla) delivers it.

In your browser

  • Signing in sets two cookies that keep you signed in. They cannot be read by page scripts. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
  • An arrangement you have not published yet is kept in this browser tab only, unless you tick the box to keep it on the device for three days. You can clear it at any time, and signing out clears it.

Your choices

  • Under Profile you can download a copy of your data or delete your account. Deleting cancels your upcoming rides, closes your arrangements and removes your personal details.
